Pressure-treated framing will far outlast redwood, cedar, or untreated pine framing. ~Kiln-dried Cedar pickets, carefully hand-selected for quality. ​ ~Coated deck screws for all fasteners. We conceal the steel posts so all you see is wood. Gates are mounted on Postmaster galvanized and powder coated 3x4.25" gate posts set in concrete footings at least 3 feet deep. Standard gates have a diagonally reinforced square frame reinforced with two exterior structural lag screws at all connection points. Gates are recessed and we install stop trim to prevent latch damage from slamming shut. Black decorative lockable thumb latch standard. No more messing with flimsy unreliable latches. No dragging on the ground or sticking. No wiggling back and forth when you close it. The gate will be the highlight of your fence.
